Step #2: Register for NSO & Finalize Housing Requirements

Sign up for NSO: After being admitted to TXST, sign up for a New Student Orientation (NSO) session at the Round Rock Campus. NSO is required for all new students. New students cannot register for classes unless they have completed the orientation requirement.

Fulfill Housing Requirements: TXST RRC does not offer on-campus housing, you will need to submit a housing exemption through the Housing Portal to finalize the housing requirement.

Once both of these have been completed you are considered Enrollment Ready

Step #3: Complete your Enrollment Profile & Course Registration

Once marked as “Enrollment Ready,” the New Bobcat Enrollment Profile will appear in your Admissions Status Portal. This profile gathers essential information—such as your major choice, complete and in-progress college credits, and test scores—so First Year Advising can enroll you in the most appropriate courses.
