Radiation Therapy (B.S.R.T.)

Bachelor of Science
Major in Radiation Therapy

The Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy prepares students to become essential members of the healthcare team specializing in cancer treatment. Radiation therapists work directly with patients, using advanced equipment to deliver targeted radiation therapy, either independently or alongside surgery and chemotherapy. The program integrates comprehensive academic coursework with clinical experience in affiliated radiation therapy facilities, emphasizing the technical, theoretical, and psychological aspects of care. With sustained patient interaction, radiation therapists also play a vital role in treatment evaluation, patient care, and emotional support. The curriculum is based on the professional standards of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Upon completion, graduates are eligible to apply for the ARRT national registry examination, opening the door to a meaningful and impactful career in radiation therapy.
